Always lovely to judge this breed, I miss not having one any more. I thought there was quite a variety in size, especially amongst the males. The standard calls for a dainty dog and I took this very much into account. Presentation was excellent.

2 lovely dogs in great form.

 

1st: 2097 PEARCE, Ms T M & HANN, Ms S Holmchin Secret Affair With Rakuchin

He is slightly more dainty than 2, whilst still cobby. Lovely eyes and expression, good skull. Enough neck. His angulation is moderate and balanced. Well ribbed. Firm in topline. Could be more accurate but stylish in profile. BV and placed in veteran group. Surprised he isn’t titled and was a contender today.

 

2nd: 2091 LINDSAY, Miss L Sleepyhollow Baroque At Anjuli Sh.CM

Heavier type of d, with big ribs, not quite the eye of 1. Moderate neck. Liked his hind angulation. Accurate on the move.

 

Minor Puppy D  (1)

1st: 2094 MCFARLANE, Miss and mrs L Corrinwood Peter Piper

Rather a stubborn pup full of character. Looks raw as to be expected and needs to body up.

Liked his skull, large eyes. Good neck. Holds a level topline.

1st: 2090 JACKSON, Mrs T Amantra Eiji

Very proposing pup. He has a good head, liked his skull shape. Fairly well cushioned muzzle. Large eyes with typical expression. Enough neck. Well made front and rear. Level topline. Stylish mover. Looked quite raw still.

 

2nd: 2078 EVANS, Miss M Evansly Enoki

Very raw and needs a bit more confidence. He has a nice head. Good width to his chest. Slightly long in body. Moved quite well

 

Junior D (4)

 

1st: 2081 FARMER, Mr G Sangria Salvador Dali

Really promising quality youngster. He has a lovely head, fairly large eyes with good expression. Moderate neck. Well made front. Good body with a level topline. Can just firm up in hind action.

 

2nd: 2104 ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S JASCHIN ARMANI

Another promising d, still raw and not having 4 feet on the ground very often. Good skull and eyes. Correct neck. He is well made, just needs to body up.

 

3rd: 2067 CALVERT, Mr and Mrs K Somergemz it's a kind of magic

Lovely size and shape d, looks super on the floor. V good skull, could have more chin. Broad chest. Moderate and well balanced angulation. Well sprung ribs. Well carried tail. V good profile mover, little untidy in front.

 

2nd: 2092 LINDSAY, Miss L Anjuli Trevor

V sound d, just a bit much of him. Well proportioned head. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder. Level topline. Fairly good rear.

 

3rd: 2109 SCHEMEL, Dr A Bentwood Candide

Liked his shape, which he holds on the move. V good head. Dark eye, good expression. Well cushioned muzzle. Ok neck. Well made in front. Level topline. Needs more body. Can firm up his rear, but still a baby.

 

2nd: 2096 MCFARLANE, Miss and mrs L Jeskandai koi no yokan

Slightly larger d. Liked his head, good rise of skull. Large, dark eyes. Moderate and balanced in his angulation. Could have a broader chest and be tidier out and back.

He has a lovely head lots of crescents and is both dainty and masculine. V good skull, well placed large eyes, good muzzle. Enough neck. Good front and feet. Runs up slightly in topline. Stylish mover.

 

2nd: 2068 CALVERT, Mr and Mrs K Sharlarna touch of magic omegaville

Liked his a lot to go over, didn’t really put much effort in when it mattered moving. Liked his head. Large, dark eyes. Good width of chest. Front legs could be straighter Well ribbed. Level topline. Good turn of stifle.

Liked his shape and size. Good head with dark, expressive eyes. Correct neck. Has a well laid shoulder. Good width of chest. Level topline. Could be slightly shorter on back. Sound mover.

He is a v sound d. Liked his head. Large, dark eyes, but just looked a bit bored with everything. Enough neck. Could have a better topline. Well made rear.

Close up. She too has a v good head. Dark eyes. Moderate neck.  Could be tighter in elbow. Level back. Slightly long. Moderate rear.

She certainly has a cobby look. Super eyes. Moderate neck. Could loose some weight. Coat could be straighter. She just looked a bit bored.

Liked her size and proportions. She has a v fem head. Could have a slightly larger eye. Correct neck. Better angulation than 2 and hence went with a bit more stride. Level topline. Well made rear.
