I would like to thank the officers and committee of Boston Canine Society for asking me to judge such a well run show . The venue layout was wonderful. Large rings and well cut grass all topped off with a great atmosphere.

I found the overall quality in the exhibits to be of a high standard which bodes well for the future.  In some classes I really had to split hairs.

 

MINOR PUPPY DOG

1st  Rooney , Green & Green : Jaschin Paw Star

Striking Puppy of seven and a half months who commands your attention . Appealing head with moderate broad skull and well placed ears . Large dark eyes , good nose pigment with large open nostrils and adequate cushioning to muzzle .

Attractive outline, spirit level topline with set on high tail. Moved round ring effortlessly with proud head carriage .  BEST PUPPY & BPIB.

 

2nd  Flynn: Sharlarna It’s All About Me At Linjato

Exuberant male of eight and a half months of excellent breed type .

Charming in outline with a coat which was silky to the touch , firm topline and topped off with correct tail set and carriage . He paints a small neat Cobby picture . Gave his handler a hard time today but never the less a quality exhibit .

1st Cayton: Aleemai Mr Brightside

Black and white male of Eleven and a half months who was in good coat . Pleasing head with well feathered ears , plenty of cushioning to muzzle and jet black nose pigment , correct bite . Nice outline with good angulation . Once settled he moved well in both directions .

 

JUNIOR DOG

1st Baranzeck: Capevidles Chinnock

Black and white male of a good overall make and shape .Charming head with ears which were carried slightly forward. Expressive eyes and ample cushioning to muzzle. Moderate neck into a good topline and correct tail set which was well feathered. Moved well in profile .

 

2nd : Pearce & Hann: Somergenz Tanjobi Rakuchin

Black and white male who was slightly different in type to winner but of a good quality . Nice expressive eyes showing the correct amount of white . Good width to muzzle with ideal ear-set . Well balanced in outline . Moved well .

1st Quinn: Sharlarna Swindler JW

Captivating black and white male of excellent breed type who can not be overlooked . Eye catching in outline with proud head carriage . Beautiful head with correct proportions . Large expressive eyes  showing the correct amount of white giving that true look of astonishment topped off with well feathered ears which are correctly set . Neat Cobby body and good width to chest . Well angulated front and rear and this showed in his movement when viewed in all directions . He was presented in beautiful condition and with coat of correct texture . Delighted to award him the CC and Best Of Breed .

 

POST GRADUATE DOG

1st  Kannangara: Sangria Ps I Love You .

Black and white male who was good natured and well handled and presented in beautiful condition . All male without  being over the top. Nice head with correct eyes and expression and well cushioned muzzle . Moderate neck into pleasing shoulder placement . Well angled front and rear , was moved at the correct pace .

 

2nd Farmers : Sangria Rocket Man

Quality male who is correctly square and compact in shape. Broad head with lovely dark expressive with that all important small amount of white showing in the corner. Pleasant in outline and good to go over with good bone and hare feet and broad chest .

Just not happy with the tent flapping in the wind .

1st Farmer: Salvador Dali By Sangria

Masculine male of good breed type . Moderate head which was rounded between the ears . Another from this kennel with the right  amount of white showing in the eyes giving the look of astonishment. This boy is small, neat and compact. Correct bone and hare feet . Nice to go over he moved very well with correct tail set and carriage which was well plumed.

 

2nd Rooney  Green & Green : Jaschin Working Man I Am .

Handsome male with an outline which was easy on the eye. Delightful head which was rounded in front and between the ears, good well feathered ears and ample cushioning to muzzle . Correct bite, good nose pigment , moderate neck flowing into a level topline and well coated tail . Beautifully presented I liked him a lot just lacked the maturity of one due to age .

1st Flynn: CH Sharlarna Evolution at Linjato

This black and white boy caught my eye as he entered the ring and he did not disappoint on closer inspection . Small neat and with a square cobby body . Dreamy head with a beautiful expression from his eyes which showed a small amount of white . Shown in full coat which was soft and silky  Moved confidently and a worthy Champion . RCC

 

2nd  Lindsay : CH Cranvarl Roger At Anjuli

Red and white male.  Another which screams quality and when you look at him you can see why he’s a champion . He was a little bigger than the winner . Masculine head  with large expressive eyes and plenty of cushioning to muzzle and topped off with correct bite , nose pigment and a correct  colour . He is nice to go over with everything fitting where it should . Firm level topline and correct tail which was well coated . He was in beautiful condition and moved at the right speed showing off his sound movement .

Beautifully presented male of quality . Broad rounded skull , large dark eyes , short wide muzzle , pleasing ear set and placement  .

Moderate neck into good topline and tailset. Nicely angulated and moved well with a level topline . Best veteran Dog.

Feminine black and white girl of almost 9 months of a glorious breed type. Moderate broad skull which was rounded in front and between ears . Pleasing dark eyes and expression , well cushioned muzzle . Nice broad chest and neat Cobby body with good angulation , level in topline .Moved well and beautifully presented .

 

2nd Steele: Naomi Jantarowa Chata At Threadgold.

Red and white girl of just over 7 months  sassy and full of spirit . Attractive head, eyes and expression ,well placed ears and satisfying in outline with a good topline she moved well when settled.

3rd Newbury: Sharlarna lady Danger For Hermosoangel.

1st Oatridge, Grogan & Irvine: Dalehouse Royal Secret

Dreamy black and white girl who commands your attention . Delightful head with large dark eyes , jet black nose pigment and with ample cushioning to muzzle . Small ears which were set wide apart with good feathering for age . She has the most endearing outline possessing a small neat package. Cobby body and good chest . She motored round the ring keeping a firm topline and proud head carriage . Best Puppy Bitch

 

2nd Streek : Sharlarna Harmony At Sherazade

Black and white girl of a good breed type . Suitable in skull , earset eyes and expression . Favourable outline was just out moved by winner .

Sable girl with large and expressive eyes . Jet black nose with wide open nostrils and good dentition with a nice width to muzzle . Good earset. Moderate neck into a firm topline . Moved well .

 

2nd Potts: Adreeam Highland Chincess

Red and white female . Kind head and expression with pleasant cushioning to muzzle . Well set and placed ears . Moderate neck and good tail set . Just preferred movement of winner .

1st Steele: Threadgold Starstruck

Engaging black and white girl of a pleasing type , large eyes which were dark and showing white in the corner giving that true Japanese Chin look of astonishment . Good quality of coat , neat compact and short coupled. Correct bone and nice hair feet .

Moved nicely coming and going .

 

2nd Martin : Sleepyhollow Cover Girl For Kirdanchi.

Dainty black and white female of a gratifying type. Liked her head and expressive eyes and pleasing cushioning to muzzle . Nice neck into level topline and tail which was well plumed . Just preferred shoulder placement on Winner .

Adorable sable bitch of a lovely breed type .she has endearing eyes and expression with correct bite , black nose pigment , ears slightly forward and well feathered completing the picture. She is a delight to go over with a well made frame. Her owner certainly knows how to get the best out of her dogs . Moved effortlessly.

Another quality bitch of a good size and pleasurable breed type . Good proportion to head and muzzle , large eyes with white showing in corner, neat shape , coat of a good quality and silky to touch . Moved well .

This black and white girl had what I was looking for. Type, expression, make and soundness. A lovely example of the breed . Irresistible eyes and expression with that true look of astonishment. Magnificent pigmentation with wide open nostrils and well cushioned muzzle , correct bite . Shows off a beautiful silhouette when viewed from across the ring and when you get your hands on she does not disappoint. Moderate neck , straight front and pleasing compact body , level topline and good spring of rib. She is put together well and this shows in her stylish movement . Delighted to to award her the Bitch CC.

 

2nd Rooney , Green & Green : CH Jaschin First Edition

Another top draw bitch of fabulous breed type, a real stunner.

Feminine head framed with large expressive eyes , small well fringed ears. She is well balanced and a delight to go over with good angulation throughout. Quality coat which was well presented . Correct bone and hare feet . Moved so well with good head carriage. Pushed hard for top honours. RCC.

1st Rooney Green & Green : CH Swifthocks Paws for Thought JW.

Another quality exhibit from this kennel . At first glance you can see exactly why she is a champion,  from her glorious head and graceful large expressive eyes all framed by well placed ears with good ear fringes . She is a joy to go over from head to tail . Lovely firm topline and good angulation . She moves with purpose and holds her head high .

Delighted to award her Best veteran bitch & Best Veteran in Breed .
