Thank you to the Officers and Committee of Bournemouth Canine Association for their kind invitation and to my stewards Peter Barnaby & Susan Kannangara who kept things running smoothly. I wish to extend my appreciation to the exhibitors, in allowing me to judge such a lovely entry 57 dog, making a total entry of 62. I was disappointed to see only a few exhibits had the desired white to  the corner of the eyes, please be careful not to lose this or you will lose the look of astonishment,  thank you to the majority of exhibitors who accepted my decisions in a sporting manner. There was only one exhibitor who was not very sporting.

Special Beginners Dog / Bitch ( 1 Entries)
1st:  Evans  -  Evansly Emiko

Pleasing young male almost 9 months, nice masculine head, darkest of eyes, well placed ears and   well ribbed for age. He moved soundly, a promising puppy who just needs to gain more confidence, made his handler work hard. Stood alone but deserved to win this class, shown in very nice condition.

Minor Puppy Dog ( 3 Entries)  Abs: 1
1st:  Evans  -  Evansly Emoji 

Quality black/white almost 9 months old, took my eye as soon as he entered the ring and on closer inspection did not disappoint, beautiful head with expressive dark eyes, well cushioned muzzle moved soundly, loved his overall balance and outline, plenty of coat nicely marked and presented in lovely condition. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd:  Mckenzie & Muldoon - Rakuchin Dangerous Liaison Von Queshian 

Black/white 6 months old, moved smartly and showed with lots of confidence, nicely shaped head with good cushioning, level topline, coat starting to come but just not as mature as winner.

 

Puppy Dog ( 4 )
1st:  Banks -  Choya Tadashi 

Black/white 10 months, lovely shaped masculine head with dark eye, moved and showed to advantage, larger boy a little rangy  at present  but should finish nicely  once he  bodies up, coat was presented in superb condition.
2nd:  Cushing  - Ennist Katsero Akio At Spiritisle  ( IMP RUS )

Pleasing puppy with nice head shape, dark eyes, good textured coat and high set tail,

dark pigmentation and nice expression, moved well when he lifted his head from the ground.

3rd Doran – Choya Takahiro With Osakazuki 

Junior Dog ( 4 )
1st:  Allcock – Littletiggers Damage Case At Sleepyhollow ( IMP ITA ) 

Quality black/white beautiful head and pigmentation, dark eyes with the desired white showing in the corners, arrogant and oriental expression, just right for size, elegant and smart, of compact build, stood four square on neat hare feet, well arched neck, firm topline, sound quarters, fine bone and good substance, glamorous straight silky coat, showed in full bloom, moved with purpose and lots of style, presented in pristine condition. In the challenge my eye kept looking back to this young dog and I was pleased to award him the CC & Best of Breed and thrilled later to watch him win the Toy Group under judge Mr Carl Sparrow.
2nd:  Flynn  -  Linjato Issey Miyake 

Black/white, another nice exhibit, pleasing head with dark eyes, moved and showed well, 

another with the correct silky straight coat, just not as compact as winner, well balanced body, tail carried correctly over his back, presented in excellent condition.

3rd: Cushing – Ennistar’s Katsero Akio At Spiritisle ( IMP RUS )

Post Graduate Dog (5) Abs: 2
1st:  Vincent & Speight   -  Bonniroy Yumi Aka At Yama 

Red/white, very nice masculine head with excellent cushioning, dark large eyes with typical expression, correct nose placement, firm back, stood four square, showed and moved well, very sound and coped the best in the class with the ring surface, presented in very nice condition.

2nd:  Farmer – Sangria Pamojill Private Eye

Black/white, pleasing head with dark eyes, dainty bone and compact body, he just did not look as balanced as winner today as the ring surface indoors had longer grass which spoilt his outline. Move soundly, presented in super condition as always from this kennel.
3rd: Doran – Shardlow Mikado With Osakazuki 

 

Limit Dog ( 5 )
1st:  Vincent  - Yama Teddy Edward JW

Black/white, caught my eye soon as I asked them to go around. Very smart with compact outline, lovely oriental expression, large dark eyes showing correct amount of white, ample reach of neck, moved well in both directions with lots of style, did all his handler asked and was in full coat of straight silky texture, presented in excellent condition, another exhibit from this kennel of excellent  breed type.

2nd:  Farmer  - Sangria Midorchi Motivation 

Black/white, Masculine head with dark eyes and just right for cushioning, good pigmentation, just preferred front movement  of the winner but nevertheless a very nice dog with some lovely attributes, presented in very good condition.

3rd:  George  - Sharlarna The Tempest At Amronchi

OPEN Dog ( 10 ) Abs: 3
1st:  Pearce & Hann   -  CH Rakuchin Kenji NA

Black/white lovely head with just the right amount of cushioning, dark eyes, well placed ears, 

fine bone, compact body with spirit level topline, lovely specimen of the breed, correct soft straight silky coat and put down in excellent condition, free flowing movement with an outstanding extrovert temperament. Reserve CC 

2nd:  Martin  -  CH Lizamela Provocateur At Sharlarna 

White/black masculine head with dark eyes with a gorgeous expression, , well placed ears, short and compact body, well set tail, in full coat of correct silky texture, made a nice picture when standing, I have judged him before and awarded him Best in Show. Today there had been an accident and it was there for everyone to see but this clever handler still presented him excellently. My heart sank as this put him out of the running for any top award. Such a pity as in all honesty I prefer his type to my winner. 

3rd:  Allcock -  CH Sleepyhollow Robson JW ShCM

Minor Puppy Bitch ( 6 )
1st:  Wallhead  - Merida Masquerade  

Exquisite red/white, very nice outline, broad almost flat skull with well placed ears, excellent pigmentation, full of herself  a real show girl and shows with lots of style and put down in super condition. Best Puppy Bitch & Best Puppy In Breed.

2nd:  Pearce & Hann  -  Rakuchin Well Hello 

Black/white, another nice puppy with pleasing feminine head, good neck, level topline and high tail set, just not as settled or as mature as the winner I’m sure this will come with maturity, shown in very nice condition.
3rd:  Evans – Evansly Erika 

Puppy Bitch ( 2 )
1st:  Crane  -  Cranvarl Truly Scruptious 

Black/white, quality puppy, well balanced with ultra feminine head, dark large eyes, pleasing expression, ample neck and well placed shoulders, lovely spring of rib, good hind quarters with good fine bone legs, short compact body, firm topline and correct tail carriage, moved well and presented in nice condition.
2nd:  Banks  -  Choya Tomomi

Black/white, well made bitch of generally pleasing type, slightly bigger and not as compact as the winner, moved very soundly in both directions and presented in lovely condition.

Junior Bitch ( 5 )
1st:  Flynn – Linjato Mimiko 

Black/white, outstanding pretty feminine head with large dark eyes  giving typical oriental expression and showing a little white to give the look of astonishment, well set ears, ample neck, compact body,  long straight silky textured coat, stood four square giving a lovely outline. I loved this exhibit just did enough for me to award her the class, I hope she regains her confidence as she is of excellent breed type, moved soundly and was presented in excellent condition.
2nd: Farmer  - Sangria Omegaville Saraboo 

Black/white pleasing head with good pigmentation, lovely size, dainty, moves with drive, just preferred the head and expression of the winner, presented in lovely condition and very nice type.
3rd:  Quinn  - Sharlarna Japanese Please

Class Post Graduate Bitch ( 5 ) 

1st:  Flynn  - Linjato Miyami 

Black/white, ultra feminine head with lovely cushioning and finish to mouth, lovely dark eyes, so much to like about her, compact, elegant, dainty, very promising youngster who caught my eye on entering the ring, her proportions and overall balance are completely satisfying. Silky coat presented in lovely condition. I note that the Junior and this class winner were litter sister and sired by my Limit winner. Pleased to award her the Reserve CC.

2nd:  Rooney & Green - Swifthocks Paws For Thought 

Black/white, very feminine with large dark eyes, dainty, nice short back with tail carried correctly, moved soundly, today she was between coats, but was presented in lovely condition, another time when in full coat could have won this class. 

3rd: Crane -  Cranvarl Le Mistrall JW 

Limit Bitch ( 7 ) Abs: 2
1st:  Vincent’s  - Yama Here Comes Kitty 

Black/white, outstanding for breed type, beautifully feminine head with dark round eyes and just the right amount of white in the corners giving the look of astonishment, lovely to go over as everything fits into place, excellent high tail set which is carried neatly over the back, compact body with the desired feathering on her hare feet, moved soundly and strode out coping well on the slightly long grass. In full coat presented in sparkling condition. I loved all the exhibits this kennel showed under me and all were of excellent breed type. Pleased to award the CC & Best Opposite Sex thrilled to hear that this win was her 3rdCC congratulations.

2nd  Paradise’s – Shardlow Yum Yum 

Black/white pleasing feminine head with dark large eyes, good pigmentation, ample neck, compact body, moved well, slightly carrying too much weight today which spoilt her outline when standing, presented in nice condition.
3rd: Blow & Allen – Yama Misty Morning 

Open  Bitch ( 4 ) 
1st:  Wallhead – Choya Carolina 

Black/white, beautiful feminine head, good stop, correct muzzle, dark round eyes, well placed ears, short neck and straight forelegs, well made throughout with medium angulation, good feet, compact body,  well set tail, moved soundly around the ring. Another quality exhibit from this kennel, very much full of herself which makes her show like a dream, Presented in lovely condition.

2nd:  Crane – Sleepyhollow Doris Of Cranvarl   

Black/white, another nice exhibit with pleasing head, dark large eyes, correct hare feet, well ribbed body, showed well with level topline, not as compact as the winner, shown in very nice condition.

3rd: Pearce & Hann  - Yama Moonlight Over Rakuchin
