Special Awards Classes 

Championship Show - Saturday 23 October 2021

Judge: Mr Nicholas Farrugia 

I would like to begin by firstly thanking Japanese Chin Club Committee for the invitation to judge the Special Awards Classes in conjunction with Championship Show.   I thoroughly enjoyed judging the breed here today with a number of quality dogs present. I would also like to take this opportunity also to thank my two stewards for the great job well done.

Special Award Junior Dog or Bitch (6)

1ST – Ratter’s – Anjuli Tank Commander At Seafar, Loved this young dog, Caught my eye, super shape and outline. Well presented in good coat .  Moved with drive and purpose sound fore and aft beautiful exhibit to judge.

2nd – Bradley’s  - Rossyn Emiko, lovely sturdy bitch of good breed type.  Lovely Chin expression moving soundly.  Well presented and showed well throughout credit to owner.

3rd – Lindsey’s – Cranvarl Roger At Anuuli NAF

Special Award Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (4)

1st - Hampton’s – Sleepyhollow Love Me Sibbai - A lovely 2yr old B/W boy, lovely eye showing plenty of white. Moved straight coming and going.  Good reach of neck into level top line, nice and square on the stand., pleasing exhibit to go over who demands one’s attention stunning A1 show specimen with such a lovely outgoing show temperament.  Very well presented by his lady owner.

2nd Grogan’s – Peregrine Jp Miyabi Avec Vanistica (Imp Japan) – Pleasing exhibit to go over, lovely expression, Lovely eye, and overall picture.  Moved well and covering the ground with ease.  Unfortunate to meet 1 here today in such good form.

3rd – Speight’s – Bonniroy Yorie Aka

Special Award Open Dog or Bitch (4)

1st – Blair’s – Bellflows Lunar Eclipse, showy girl who enjoyed her day out, moving and covering the ring well, nice head and good expression good reach of neck level topline.

2nd – Spieght’s – Bonniroy Ymiko Aka – Pleasing overall Chin, moving well fore and aft, lovely expression good eye and good reach of neck leading into a level topline.

3rd – Crane – Cranvarl Ruby Tuesday.
